Trepanier Forest Trail
Trepanier Forest Trail may be accessed via 6th Avenue, the Stave Pipe Trail or the overpass along the Okanagan Connector. It follows Trepanier Creek for 2.6km between the Stave Pipe Trail and the Connector overpass.
This 5km loop is moderate in difficulty, but high ranking in scenery!
The trail is surrounded by trees but still lets in the warm Okanagan sunshine.
Trail hikers will follow yellow markers (#2) along Trepanier Creek up to the Forest Service Road. There are several steep sections along this trail. Hikers will enjoy the mix of evergreen and deciduous forest, glacial rock debris, many local species of animals, as well as interesting valley and canyon views.
Directions: From Highway 97 turn onto Ponderosa Drive. Trailhead is located on Pincushion Place off of 6th Avenue.
